Benjamin Läpple/ Political Tech Summit
As disinformation campaigns, cyber attacks, and influence operations increasingly target elections, institutions, and public trust, political technology has become a core component of democratic security. This session positions political tech not as a campaign add-on, but as critical infrastructure: combining data analytics, cybersecurity, AI-driven monitoring, and rapid response tools to detect, attribute, and counter hostile information operations in real time. Drawing on recent European and global cases, the discussion explores how political tech practitioners, platforms, governments, and security actors can work together to harden democratic systems—moving from reactive fact-checking to proactive resilience.
Participants will gain a clear view of what works today, where vulnerabilities remain, and how political tech must evolve to defend open societies in an era of permanent digital confrontation.
Im Rahmen der Münchner Sicherheitskonferenz (12.-16.2.2026). Begleitend finden im Salon Luitpold hochkarätig besetzte Diskussions-Panels statt. Auf Englisch, Französisch und Deutsch.
