Inszeniert unter dem Augenmerk des Schöpfers Richard O’Brien selbst wird der unartigste Spaß, den man auf der Bühne erleben kann, so euphorisch vom Publikum gefeiert und enthusiastisch zelebriert wie kein anderes Musical der Welt. Und das bedeutet: Im Theater sind Strapse und Stilettos angesagt! Mit unübertroffener Exzentrik und Hits wie ‚The Time Warp‘, ‚Sweet Transvestite‘ und vielen mehr nimmt die schrille Story um das junge, biedere Paar Brad Majors und Janet Weiss und den diabolischen Außerirdischen Dr. Frank’n’Furter ihren Lauf. Es darf gebuht, mit Lichtern geschwenkt und Wasser gespritzt werden, was das Zeug hält!

Die Rocky Horror Show war von Anfang an mit nichts zu vergleichen: Schon kurze Zeit nach ihrer Uraufführung 1973 in London wurde sie zum weltweiten Phänomen. Der Einfluss, den sie bis heute auf Drag Shows, Rockbands, Theater und die Burlesque-Szene ausübt, ist unschätzbar groß. 50 Jahre später wagt Richard O’Brien’s Rocky Horror Show den ‚Time Warp‘ zurück zu den Wurzeln – zu B-Movies, Burlesque und Glamrock – und dringt bis zum wahren Kern der Rocky Horror Show vor.
